Founder

Tanna is a Santa Barbara native with over 18 years of experience in the beauty industry. Beginning her career as a licensed cosmetologist specializing in makeup, with a focus on brides, she later transitioned to hair cutting and coloring before unexpectedly finding a position as a nail technician in Maui. Then thirteen years ago, she discovered her passion for sugaring and waxing, and has never looked back! Her dedication and expertise are unparalleled, infusing each appointment with a touch of magic to ensure her clients leave feeling their best.

Outside of The Lounge, Tanna is a seasoned adventurer, jetting off to a new country every September with her partner in life, business and travel, Gabe. She's a passionate cook (aka "the bean queen"), loves exploring local eateries and cuddling up with her two adorable cats. But Tanna isn't just about beauty; she's your go-to source for travel tips, recipe swaps and insider knowledge on the best spots in town.

Meet Gabe, the friendly face you'll find at The Lounge's front desk, where he works his magic to make every client feel welcomed and at home. With a talent for handling the ins-and-outs and small business logistics, he's our go-to guy for all things behind the scenes.

Before joining the lovely Tanna, Gabe shared his knowledge as a university professor, both in the states and abroad (fun fact: he's trilingual!). His love for travel knows no bounds, and he's always up for jet-setting with Tanna by his side.

Outside The Lounge, you'll catch Gabe cruising to Santa Barbara's stunning water spots on his bike or hanging with his beloved feline companions as "the cat father".

Esthetician

Erin is an incredible addition to The Lounge family, diving into months of extensive training under Tanna's guidance. Her special talent lies in forming instant, heartfelt connections with clients, making them feel right at home from the get-go. Having earned her Esthetician License through City College Cosmetology Academy, Erin's passion for esthetics shines through in her work at The Lounge, where she takes genuine joy in helping clients feel their absolute best.

Born and raised in Santa Barbara, Erin's downtime is all about her miniature dachshund, Winnie, affectionately dubbed "the baby rat." She's a lover of staying active, constantly seeking out new physical challenges, with powerlifting as her latest obsession.
